Cranio-Sacral Therapy
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) was developed by John Upledger, D.O. Professor of Biomechanics at Michigan State University and practicing osteopathic physician.
CST is a gentle, manual modality to evaluate the functioning of physiological body system called the craniosacral system which is comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Treatment involves using a very soft touch to release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system and its surrounding structures.
